~6/14/16 ~You Can Call Me Momma!!

Whelp folks, transfer calls are in.... I WILL BE TRAINING!!! I am so excited for this wonderful opportunity! Elder Bunker will also be staying here in Békéscsaba and training again, so we will have a cute little family of greenies! We just cant even wait! Sister Grogan and Elder Römer will both be going to Győr and will be able to serve around the Mecseriék that used to live in Kecskemét, I am overly jealous and excited for both of them!

We had a fantastic week here in Békéscsaba! We have been able to meet with a lot of our investigators this week and all of our teaching appointments went really well! We met with our investigator that used to have a baptismal date and we talked to her a little bit more about baptism. She said that she feels like she might be ready around September. When we were reading through the baptism interview questions to see where she is at spiritually, she ended up telling us that she had quit smoking. We actually never knew that she smoked, but she apparently she used to be a very heavy smoker and she told us that the first day we met with her 7 weeks ago she just felt something special and we had mentioned briefly that we don't smoke and she decided that day to quit smoking, and she hasn't picked up a cigarette in 7 weeks! She does still drink coffee but we are working on that one with her and she knows that if the Lord was able to help her quit smoking he can help her to quit drinking coffee also! She seems to be really progressing alot and I am super excited to see where she will be able to go with the gospel in this next transfer!

On Friday we had interviews with President Szabadkai down in Szeged, and I was able to see my greenie city once again, as well as a few members that were at the branch house! I was also able to take Sister Grogan to go meet Klaudia, the little girl who we baptized in Szeged, and her family! Klaudia stole my camera and went a little crazy, so enjoy the many photos that will be coming! When I first got there she ran out with the note and picture I had given her for her baptism, turns out she keeps it on the wall right above the dinner table, she is so adorable! I just love her!!

On Saturday, Kiss Zsolt, one of my investigators that I taught in Szeged, was baptized! He is now living in Canada for work, but his non-members parents went to the branch house in Szeged and they skyped them into the baptism! Such a neat experience, I am so proud of him!

Yesterday evening we had the opportunity to meet with L and J, and we decided to talk a little bit more about God, and how faith and hope are related. We shared some scriptures with them from Ether 12 and he really liked them. I ended up just telling him that faith is a choice, and if he wants to believe that there is a God, then he has to choose the believe that there is a God. Before I could even extend his commitment to him, he proposed the idea that he is going to take the next 3 months and he is going to read from the Book of Mormon everyday and pray and live according to the gospel and see what kind of difference it makes in his life! I promised him that if he does that, he will see the difference, because there will be one! I am so excited for him! Him and Judit committed to reading the Book of Mormon for at least 15 minutes together everyday! He even agreed that he will say the prayer in our next teaching appointment, which will be a first for him! They both are doing great, and I feel super optimistic about things!

We were able to meet with an older lady on Sunday that we tracted into and she took a Book of Mormon and set up to meet with us again this week, so that will be neat!

We also met with a couple last night, and we discussed the Atonement of Jesus Christ with them! It was really neat to be able to share with them my testimony of the Atonement, because I truly have such a strong testimony about it. I know that he suffered for us, and not just for our sins. He understands us perfectly, and we can always turn to him, whether it be in hard times or in good ones! I am so thankful for Christ and His sacrifice that he made for each and every one of us individually! And I know that using His Atonement in our lives is the best way to feel of the infinite love that he has for each one of us! I know that I have sure felt that love in my life, and there is no greater feeling!

Sorry for the long email, I love you all and hope you have a great week! There will be many photos to come.. Enjoy!

Sok Szeretettel,
 LeBaron Nővér
