Happy Father's Day yesterday to all those amazing men in our lives! Big shout out to my dad, he is the greatest man I have ever met, and such a huge inspiration to me in my life! I seriously dont know where I would be without him!
This week has been really good! We had another full week of
teaching appointments, despite having a few cancellations. We met with
our investigator Marika and she is still struggling with giving up
coffee, and she promised she would come to church, but
when we went to pick her up, she said she couldn't come, so that was a
little disappointing. She does so well one day, and then the next time
we meet with her she seems to have regressed a little bit. I just wish I
could know how to better help her continuously
progress.
We met with our investigator Enikő this week, and it was such a
good teaching appointment! We were helping her get her family history
work started, and then it somehow transitioned into some deeper doctrine
questions that she had about the restoration.
She had such good questions, and with the help of the member we had
present, we were able to walk her through her questions and clarify
everything! It went so well! Enikő is really progressing, and she has
expressed previously that she would like to get baptized,
she just is waiting to get married. We are planning on talking to her
about it this week, and see if we can get a more clear idea of when she
will be ready, and reminding her of the blessing that will come as she
does what her Father in Heaven asks of her!
But besides that, she is such an amazing person with so much faith in
God and just an overall amazing person! She is probably one of our most
solid investigators right now!
Wednesday we had transfers and I got my new companion, Sister
Dorny! She is 19, from colorado, plays the violin, and is just all
around awesome! She is a super bold person, loves talking to everybody
we meet, and super down to work hard this transfer,
which makes me happy! It has been really fun introducing her to all the
things that I just love about Hungary, and she loves them just as much
as I do, which makes me very happy! I know that we were absolutely
supposed to be together, she just motivates me
to be a better missionary and a better person all around! I am really
looking forward to our transfer together and all the hard work we will
be able to do, and the people that we will be able to help!
Well, I hope that y'all are doing great and have a fabulous week! I love you!
Sok Szeretettel,
LeBaron Nővér
