The Gift of Tongues???‏

Well well well, another week done! Time keeps on flying like crazy!

This week has been another successful week here in Békéscsaba! We had quite a few teaching        appointments cancel on us, so that was sad to see, but despite that we still had some really good appointments this week! We were able to teach a new investigator about the restoration and Book of Mormon and challenge her to pray about it and asked her to commit to be baptized if she found these things to be true, and she accepted our invitation! It was a good reminder to me of the importance of good commitments, and how much that can influence how well our investigators progress! I am excited to be able to follow up on her reading and praying this next week, and see how her commitment went! A Little bit of a side story with her, her mother believes that she can speak in tongues and has apparently talked to God many times in visions, as well as other significant religious figures. I dint know this however, until after I asked her to offer us an opening prayer! Things started out great, she was doing a normal prayer in Hungarian and seemed very genuine and then next thing I knew, she said "Jesus Christ" in English! I opened my eyes and no one else seemed to notice it so I closed my eyes again and continued to listen...lets just say that I didn't hear a word of Hungarian after that. The other 5 minutes of the prayer was quite interesting...... I have no clue what language she was speaking! At the end she finished with a bunch of hallelujahs and some shouting. The lesson went really well and I decided  to ask Sister Grogan to offer the closing prayer!

Our tracting has been going pretty well here in Békés! While not a lot of people are quite willing to commit to meeting with us yet, we have at least been able to talk to quite a few people and they have been very kind and we were at least able to plant that little seed of knowledge in their hearts that will hopefully be able to flourish into something bigger one day!

Sunday we got to watch the Sunday afternoon session of conference, it was so good! It was exactly everything that I needed to hear, the talks were so amazing, I would definitely recommend that everyone watch it if they haven't already seen it!!

I must go now, but I send my love to all of you and hope that you have a great week full of adventures!
Sok Szeretettel,
LeBaron Nőver
